Staff Council

It is the advisory body that helps the Principal in academic matters, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, sports, organizational functions, and the maintenance of discipline.

Term: The Staff Secretary is elected by the Principal. The term of the Staff Secretary shall be 1 year.

Meetings: The meeting of the council shall be convened at such times as the Principal may consider necessary.

Functions

To facilitate communication among the Principal, teaching and non-teaching staff.
To make rules & regulations for sports and extra-curricular activities and the proper maintenance and functioning of the playgrounds.
To participate, assist and advise the Principal in nominating staff representatives to serve on institutional committees.
To promote and advocate staff professionalism and support opportunities for leadership development.
To plan the celebration of important days and other co-curricular activities.
To perform such other functions as may be assigned by the Principal.
