Code of Conduct
- The photo identity card must be carried at all times on campus and produced on demand.
- Attend lectures and practicals regularly as per the time table.
- Maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in both theory and practicals.
- Conduct should be satisfactory at all times.
- Absence from the institute without leave is treated as a breach of discipline.
- Appear for all tests and examinations and show satisfactory progress.
- Read all notices displayed on the notice boards.
- Cause no disturbance to fellow students or adjacent classes within the premises.
- Do not loiter in the institute premises.
- Do not form any society/association or invite anyone to address a meeting without the Principal’s prior permission.
- Do not arrange trips without the prior consent of the Principal.
- Take proper care of the institute’s property; any damage is a breach of discipline.
- Communicate clearly with students and provide written instructions for each assignment.
- Stay updated in the knowledge of the subject and current affairs.
- Prepare each lecture thoroughly in advance.
- Conduct lectures and practicals as per the time table.
- Use modern teaching tools (audio/visual aids) to make lectures engaging.
- Record student attendance regularly.
- Complete the syllabus within the stipulated time.
- Conduct all examinations as per schedule and evaluate them within the stipulated time.
- Conduct examinations in a manner that minimizes scholastic dishonesty.
- Be polite to students, listen to their problems and make efforts to solve them.
- Stay in contact with the parents / guardians of students.
- Take prior approval of leave and arrange alternatives for lectures and practicals.
- Follow the rules, regulations and instructions of the institute; consistently guard against plagiarism.
- Maintain absolute integrity and devotion to duty at all times.
- Maintain independence and impartiality in the discharge of duties.
- Maintain a responsible and decent standard of conduct in private life.
- Render prompt and courteous service to students.
- Observe proper decorum during the lunch break.
- Respect the organization, fellow workers and students; avoid gossip.
- Do not share confidential data with external parties.
- Act in accordance with college policies and be answerable to superiors.
- Maintain all records properly and keep them for auditing at the end of the financial year.
- Maintain student scholarship records separately.
- Never adopt a casual attitude at work.
- Do not consume any intoxicating drinks or drugs while on duty.
- Do not use your official position or influence to secure employment for family members.
- Communicate information in accordance with the Right to Information Act, 2005.
- Do not indulge in any act of sexual harassment of any woman at the workplace.
