Campus Placement Cell (CPC)

The Campus Placement Cell facilitates job opportunities for final-year students by inviting reputed companies for campus recruitment drives, and by preparing students with the skills and confidence to succeed at interviews.

About the Cell

CPC bridges the gap between academia and industry. It identifies recruiters, organises pre-placement training, conducts mock interviews and aptitude tests, and coordinates on-campus and off-campus drives throughout the academic year. The Cell works closely with the Career Guidance Cell and JKC to provide a continuous student-to-career pipeline.

Objectives
  • Maximise placement opportunities for graduating students.

  • Train students in technical, soft, and interview skills.
  • Track placement records and maintain alumni-industry links.

  • On-campus recruitment drives by IT, banking, retail and BPO companies.
  • Pre-placement training: aptitude, group discussion, interview skills.

How CPC Helps Students

  • Identifies and invites reputed companies for campus drives.
  • Trains students through aptitude tests, GD, mock interviews and personality development sessions.
  • Maintains placement records and a register of student profiles for recruiters.
  • Coordinates internships with industry partners for practical exposure.
  • Provides guidance on off-campus opportunities and walk-in drives.

Eligibility

All final-year UG & PG students with the required academic record are eligible to participate in campus drives. Students are encouraged to register early with the Cell and to attend all pre-placement training sessions.
