Student Projects

Every student is assigned a study project each year, based on a classroom topic, under faculty guidance — building research experience that carries into future studies. Recent example project topics include:

• Medicinal uses of plants found in the local area
• Plant biodiversity within the College campus
• Mineral deficiency in plants
• Conservation of biodiversity
• Commercial crops grown in the local area
• Landscaping of the College campus
• Ecosystem study of the local area
• Ornamental plants and flowers
• Pollen-grain studies of plants growing on campus

These are example project topics from past years, not a dated log of specific student submissions.
