 In order to attain the lofty vision through sustainable developmental activities in agreement with the concept of Eco-Village, Government Degree College, Nagari has taken initiatives in harnessing the renewable energy through Solar thermal and Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) power plants. 

Solar energy is an infinite source of energy which is also a clean energy available in abundance.

Government Degree College, Nagari has made a significant step forward in Renewable Energy Production. Solar Power System is established with RUSA funds (Rs.16.85 lakhs) in the College to meet the requirement of power utilization of the campus. This power project has been designed, supplied, installed and commissioned by M/s. Wind Stream Energy Technologies India (P) Ltd, Hyderabad.
